New Crochet tools

♥♥♥♥

Lets get back to the crochet...
♥♥♥♥
One of the main reasons for starting this blog, was my passion for crochet.
I wanted to learn from, and be inspired by others and hopefully do the same for someone else out there!
♥♥♥♥
Now I don't know about you, but everytime I go into a craft shop, I look for the crochet things.
Hooks tools, books and any useful things that will help with the hooking.
In most shops there is not a lot to see or buy... same old- same-old!
I then buy on line, but its not the same as being able to 'have and hold'.
do you have this dilema?
♥♥♥♥
In America its very interesting to note the difference.
A quick visit to 'Joann' at my Mum's local Mall.
For very little money....I bought these,
♥♥♥♥

Two gorgeous new hooks and a pack of comfy rubber grips, to put on the end of my old hooks.
♥♥♥♥
The grips are especially handy for those smaller size hooks that can dig in to your hand after a long session.
Superb for only $2.99
♥♥♥♥

♥♥♥♥
The hooks? oh the hooks....
they are sublime, comfy, pretty, hook well and are very cheap at $2.49 each!!
(thats about £1.70 with tax)
♥♥♥♥

♥♥♥♥
The handles are bamboo, with steel hooks
I loved them so much I bought another before I left!
♥♥♥♥

♥♥♥♥
Does anyone know where these can be bought in uk?
Where do you buy your fave hooks etc.
♥♥♥♥
PS...the top pic is a project I made for my Mum..I will reveal all later.

  1. Hi Daisy! I just found your lovely blog and had to leave you a comment. I do exactly the same thing as you in craft stores...I have a look at everything but what I search for are crochet things! The bamboo hooks look great. I just got back from the UK and in my suitcase I brought back a Brittany hook and some knitpro hooks. I love wooden hooks they are so easy on my hands. Have a great weekend! Elisabeth xx

  5. Hello Daisy

You can get the Susan Bates hooks you mention on Amazon co.uk but they are a bit more expensive 10 to 11 pounds....I've been looking for some good hooks for a long time now. I tried the knitpro but didn't get on with them and sent them back. At present I use my old Aero ones and a couple of new clover ones I bought. However I'm still hunting for the superduper crochet hook! :-)

    keep well
